01Your browser choices

Use the Consent Preferences control to accept or reject optional cookies or to change a choice you already made; the banner offers the same choices the first time it appears. We use the consent tool Termly, whose script is served from app.termly.io: it shows the same banner to every visitor, in every location, records your choice for this browser and blocks optional scripts until you allow them. One choice covers this website and Academy on www.mytrial.com. Separate browser profiles, devices and private windows have separate choices. When you are signed in to Academy, the choice you make in the banner is also recorded against your account when that write succeeds.

02Essential and requested functions

Sign-in and security use necessary cookies and browser information. Termly stores your cookie decision in a first-party record on this domain; that record follows Termly’s own lifetime and is rewritten when you change your choice. When you are signed in to Academy, the decision, the notice version it was made against and the time you made it are also recorded against your account when that write succeeds. Appearance settings remember a theme you select; account navigation can use session storage to avoid unnecessary loading. These records are not advertising profiles.

03Optional analytics

Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights measure approved public website pages. They stay off until you accept the analytics category in the banner; there is no place where they start on their own. Until a decision can be read from the consent tool, nothing optional loads. You can turn analytics off again through Consent Preferences at any time.

Google cookies beginning with _ga distinguish visits; this website sets a maximum duration of 180 days without renewal on activity. Vercel uses request-derived, short-lived measurement rather than conventional analytics cookies. Both are controlled by the analytics choice. We do not collect clinical search text, personal page identifiers or form values as audience events. Google Analytics advertising features remain off.

These providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Vercel also processes service-generated information to operate, secure and improve its platform, as explained in its privacy notice. Our Vercel team has optional AI model training turned off.

Declining or withdrawing analytics stops future website audience events and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track: while either signal is set, optional analytics and referral storage stay off whatever the banner has recorded, and Global Privacy Control also keeps sale, sharing for cross-context advertising and targeted advertising off. If the consent tool cannot load — a browser extension blocks it, or its storage is unavailable — no decision can be read and optional features remain off.

We also use aggregate statistics from existing hosting requests and search-engine reports to understand public-page demand, approximate country mix, referrals and automated traffic. These reports add no browser tracker or visitor identifier. Hosting still processes the request information needed to provide and protect the service.

04Other optional features

Referral attribution sets Academy’s first-party referral cookies, freegcp_ref and freegcp_ref_id, only under the performance category in the banner. Google One Tap offers sign-in to visitors who are signed out, using Google/browser controls and sign-in state such as g_state; it is part of authentication and does not depend on the banner. See the Academy cookie notice for its full cookie inventory and lifetimes.

05Privacy requests

Clearing your browser’s storage removes Termly’s saved record, so the banner appears again on your next visit and optional features stay off until you answer it. Withdrawal changes future collection and does not itself delete historical analytics. For a data-rights request, see our privacy notice or contact us.
