- What does the GCP track cost?
- The training is free: the courses, the exams, and the public completion record, with no card to begin. Sharing your record never requires the PDF. The only paid extra is the optional printable PDF certificate, and you see your country's price before you pay.
- What is the difference between the record and the certificate?
- The completion record proves you finished the training, costs nothing, and can be checked by anyone at a public verification URL. The PDF is the printable document, carrying a ledger ID and QR code for audits and inspections. It is an optional one-time purchase.
- Will a sponsor recognize it?
- MyTrial Academy's GCP training is TransCelerate-recognized. Whether to accept a training program is each sponsor's or employer's own decision, and every credential carries a public verification record they can check in seconds.
- What is TransCelerate recognition?
- TransCelerate BioPharma is a nonprofit collaboration of the industry's major research sponsors, including companies like Pfizer, Novartis, and AstraZeneca. Its members published the minimum criteria an ICH GCP course must cover so that training one sponsor accepts can be recognized by the others, instead of the same people repeating GCP training for every new trial. Being recognized means a course meets those criteria.
- How long is the credential valid?
- The record shows a two-year validity from the qualifying completion date on it. ICH E6(R3) itself sets no expiry: it asks that everyone on a trial be qualified and stay current, and renewal cycles are set by sponsors and institutions, most commonly every two to three years. When your record lapses, you can retake the track.
- Do I need prior clinical research experience?
- No. The track opens at the fundamentals: what a trial is, who does what, and why the ethics developed as they did. From there it builds to the full guideline.
- Do I have to take both courses?
- No. The credential requires ICH E6(R3) Principles, the second course. Clinical Research Foundations is there for people new to research, so take both if that is you. If you already know how trials run, go straight to E6(R3).
- What happens if I have to stop partway?
- Nothing. The track is self-paced with no time limit and no cohort to fall behind; progress saves per lesson, on any device, and resumes wherever you left it.
